Course Description:

The analysis and application of organizational theory, group dynamics, motivation theory, leadership concepts and the integration of interdisciplinary concepts from the behavioral sciences.

Course Policies on Make-up Exams, Late Assignments, and Tardiness:

-       Make-up exam is not guaranteed but at the discretion of the instructor

-       Late assignments will not be accepted unless there is an urgent situation

-       Tardiness will be treated in the same manner as attendance

Take-home essays (Individual assignment)

For every class, I will give you one essay topic related to the topic of the class. So totally we have around 16 topics. You are free to write an essay for each topic. However, you only need to submit 3 essays to me by email.

 

Expectation:

 

Presentation (Group assignment)

Students will work in a group of 5 and you need to present the 2 cases from the textbook to the class. Hence, the presentation will be evaluated on

All team members have to present. There will be 20 minutes for presentation and 20 minutes for question & answer session. The rest of the class is supposed to ask a lot of questions in Q&A. This is counted as participation grade. Formal dress is encouraged but not compulsory.
